1994: Provision of emergency medical care to burn victims following the ignition of fuel storage tanks in Assiout region of Upper Egypt during November 1994. At the same time, Médecins du Monde also staffed, reconstructed and provided essential furniture, medical equipment and medicines to the health centers in the villages of Abohorz and Palizza
1998: Primary healthcare and dental coverage project in the medical facility of the Monastery of St. Catherine in Sinai, in order to support both the monks as well as the local population.
1999-2000: Project aiming to restore, equip and upgrade a hospital in Cairo.
