Motor Oil Group and Médecins du Monde, in cooperation with the local authorities, continue the implementation of the “Care for All” project, which involves visits by the Organisation’s Mobile Medical Units, providing preventive and health education services to our fellow people all over Greece.
Specifically, on Saturday, January 28, the medical units of Médecins du Monde will be in Western Macedonia and in particular at the Primary School of the community of Kellis from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. During the same hours they will be at the Health Centre of the Municipality of Amyndeon on Sunday 29 January, providing their services to the residents of the local communities of the region.
The goal of the project is the early diagnosis and prevention of health in the general population and the provision of integrated and quality health services in various regions of the country. At the same time, the aim is to raise awareness and health education in local communities and to link and refer to the public health system.
It is worth noting that this initiative is taking place in cooperation with the Municipality of Amyntaio and the Local Community of Kellis and in the context of the provision of prevention and health promotion services, the possibility of a medical check-up by a physician, pediatrician, cardiologist and ophthalmologist, specialties that are necessary after consultation with the local authorities.
Motor Oil Group, with a strong sense of responsibility and operating for 50 years as an integral part of the local communities in which it operates, sets as a priority the enhancement of the well-being of our fellow human beings. In this direction, the “Care for All” project travels to Western Macedonia to support in the best possible way local communities and areas that face difficulties in accessing health facilities, always in cooperation with Médecins du Monde and the local authorities.
