AT MDM
PARTICIPATE Become a partner
Médecins du Monde recognises the benefits of partnership at European level with organisations from Greece and other EU countries.
Therefore MdM-Greece encourages cooperation on a range of topics such as:
- Human Rights protection and advocacy
- Fighting against social injustice
- Ease of access to healthcare and mental health services
- Empowerment of Vulnerable Groups and Social Inclusion
In the framework of European partnerships (Erasmus+, EU4Health, AMIF, CERV, etc.), we believe in the value of documenting and promoting Good Practices, in sharing knowledge and professional experience and in the interdisciplinary nature of actions as pillars of social change.
OUR EXPERIENCE
MdM-Greece participates in the implementation of European Union projects, both as Implementing Partners and as Project Coordinators. During the last 4 years MdM-Greece has participated in two IENE 6 & 8 projects for the empowerment of refugee families in terms of mental health, in a REC (Rights, Equality and Citizens) project for the empowerment of refugee communities in dealing with gender-based violence and in an Erasmus+ KA2 project for the development of a practical tool for the provision of Mental Health First Aid (PFA) in school communities, as Project Coordinator.
If you are also interested in partnership within the framework of the European Projects, you can consult the form below to contact us.
SHORT DESCRIPTION
MdM-Greece focuses its action on supporting the most vulnerable people, those who live on the margins of society and experience poverty and social exclusion. Community Health and the protection of human rights are a key pillar of MdM-Greece action, whether it is addressing urgent needs or pursuing long-term goals such as Universal Access to Health and Community Resilience. In all our projects we promote tolerance and respect for diversity. We see ourselves as actors of social change leading to positive impact for society as a whole.
