Continuation of operation under the Operational Program of Central Macedonia 2021 – 2027
Médecins du Monde Greece is pleased to inform you about the new programming period of the Social Polyclinic in Thessaloniki, an integrated program of primary health care and psychosocial support services which is being implemented at 29A Ptolemaion (3rd floor), within the Stoa, in the center of Thessaloniki.
The project entitled “Continuation and Strengthening of the Social Polyclinic of Médecins du Monde in Thessaloniki with the integration of a Mobile Health Unit”, with code MIS 6001344, is being implemented under the Operational Program Central Macedonia 2021 – 2027, with funding from Greece and the European Union.
Services
The services are addressed both to citizens of the Metropolitan Thessaloniki area and to people belonging to vulnerable social groups living in the same area, facing economic and social problems and seeking health care and psychosocial support services. The scientific team of the Social Polyclinic consists of doctors (Pathologist, Psychiatrist, Psychiatrist, Pediatrician, Gynecologist, Dermatologist), nurses, social workers and psychologist, while more than 100 health and administrative volunteers support the Social Polyclinic of Thessaloniki with their valuable services.
Services are provided by appointment, which can be scheduled by calling 2310.566.641 or by sending an email to thessaloniki@mdmgreece.gr. At the same time, a mobile medical unit intervenes three times a week in areas of Metropolitan Thessaloniki where there is a population living in precarious housing conditions and provides primary health care and health promotion services.
The social polyclinic of Médecins du Monde serves vulnerable groups of the population living in the administrative boundaries of Metropolitan Thessaloniki and facing difficulties in accessing health care and psychosocial support services.
