Preventive dental care for children in Glyfada
MdM-Greece, in collaboration with the Municipality of Glyfada, will hold free preventive dental care for children on Friday, June 16, from 10 am to 2 pm, at the Old Town Hall of Glyfada (Saki Karagiorgas 1 – on the coastal avenue opposite the Church of Saints Constantine and Helen).
Responding to the increased needs of the Greek society, MdM-Greece implements the Smile Project, aiming at early diagnosis and health prevention in the general population and the provision of integrated and quality health services in various regions of the country. At the same time, the aim is to raise awareness and provide oral health education in local communities as well as linkage and referral to the public health system. The “Smile Project” program offers Preventive Dental Screening with Mobile Clinic visits in areas of mainland Greece and the islands.
“Prevention and early diagnosis of any health problem, whether minor or major, is crucial for its effective treatment. That is why, with the very important help of the scientific team of the Social Service of our Municipality and with the support of scientific institutions active in key areas, we try to be useful to our local community, informing and mobilizing our fellow citizens in the direction of protecting their health. We thank MdM very much for their valuable contribution to the children of Glyfada”, stated the Mayor of Glyfada, George Papanikolaou.
