Empowerment of migrant / refugee women-survivors of Gender-Based Violence (GBV)
As part of the Empowerment of migrant / refugee women-survivors of Gender-Based Violence (GBV) program, groups of women discuss methods and best practices of dealing with incidents of gender-based violence under the supervision and guidance of a social worker and psychologist. The purpose of the seminar series is to inform and empower women for immediate and effective management of key issues of their daily lives that may arise in the context of gender inequality.
The program entitled “Empowerment of migrant / refugee women- survivors of Gender-Based Violence (GBV)” is implemented by Doctors of the World Greece with the support of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Athens.
