President’s Message
During a time when everything and everyone seem to be moving at unrealistic speed, it is in itself difficult to focus on people and challenging situations that require care and protection.
There are vulnerable groups of all ages that have crossed continents to reach our country as immigrants or refugees, people who do not have access to the health system in our country, people who cannot cope with everyday life. Our work, as a humanitarian organization, is to defend every single person’s inherent right to a decent way of living.

Wherever people are, Doctors of the World are present as well.
For many years now, with respect and without discrimination, we strive to become a universal human embrace.
And I must admit, it is a great honor for me to be a part of the big family that is the organization of the Doctors of the World.
Wherever people are…
We commit ourselves to always be there as well.
