Offering a glass of milk and a lot of joy, to children in need
Médecins du Monde organize on Friday, December 16th the festive event “A Christmas Tree made of milk cans” at Agios Antonios Square, next to the metro station, in collaboration with the Municipality of Peristeri.
From 8:00 in the morning until 8:00 in the afternoon, for the 13th year, Médecins du Monde invites citizens to offer cans of evaporated milk, putting up a unique Christmas Tree, in order to offer once again, valuable help and joy to children in need.
With just a small act of giving, helping to make the Christmas Tree taller by adding one more can of evaporated milk, we can all contribute to the best possible coverage of needs for families facing increased financial difficulties.
At the same time, Médecins du Monde continues to gather long-life food (such as rice, pulses, pasta, etc.) supporting vulnerable households.
This year, in the Christmas spirit of solidarity and humanity, we are all doing our best to offer even more, wherever people are!
