Médecins du Monde, with the support of Intersos Hellas, responding to the invitation of the General Secretariat of Public Health of the Ministry of Health, launched the operation of Covid-19 Vaccination Centres at the Open Polyclinics of Médecins du Monde in Athens and Thessaloniki.

The aim of the project is to increase access to vaccination for vulnerable groups in order to protect their health and to reduce the spread of the pandemic.

Providing the necessary resources, expertise and scientific competence, the two organisations are ensuring unrestricted access to vaccination for all, in the midst of the new refugee crisis and the challenges facing the national health system.

For Médecins du Monde, the operation of Vaccination Centres in Open Polyclinics is one more step in the holistic response to the pandemic since its beginning, which includes, among others, the reliable information of the population on protective measures and vaccination, as well as the provision of protective material to vulnerable groups.

The scheduling of the vaccination is done after contacting the Open Polyclinics of Médecins du Monde:

Athens: Sapphous 12, 105 53, 105 53, T: 210.32.13.150
