Médecins du Monde supports diversity and participates in the Athens Pride 2023. With the central slogan “So that we can tell our children once upon a time I claimed and succeeded”, this year’s Athens Pride 2023 journey aims to broaden the visibility of the claims of the full spectrum of LGBTQ+ people.
MdM will participate in this year’s Athens Pride with an open pavilion at Kotzia Square, while information will be provided on the ways of transmission and prevention of HIV, highlighting the dangerous behaviors that expose to the virus, raising awareness to eliminate the stigma of those who are ill and encouraging preventive screening. In addition, a mobile unit of MdM-Greece will conduct free rapid testing for HIV, viral hepatitis and sexually transmitted diseases (STDs).
We are waiting for you on Saturday 10th June at Kotzia Square from 11:00 noon until the evening. Come and join our voice with all those who are demanding the right to a better world, without discrimination and intimidation.
This year’s event will culminate at 19:00 with the Pride Parade, followed by a concert at Kotzia Square.
