Volunteering offer in Greece

Since 1990, MdM Greece defend the right of each person to life , health and dignity. Faithful to the Principle of volunteerism , doctors, nurses, sanitary and non –sanitary personnel as well as people without specialization , add to their daily life the pleasure of offering to their fellowmen.

The contribution of everybody is precious. If you wish to offer voluntarily your time to support programs , to respond to cases of urgent aid , to contribute to the organization and participation to events of communication and to many other activities , you can become part of this effort . It is the motive power which allows and urges us to realize the aims for the relief of thousands of our fellowmen.

More concretely, the basic categories which are necessary for MdM and their programs in Greece are the following :

Doctors

Doctors of many specialities , are essential for the crewing of the polyclinics that MdM run in Athens and in Greece as well as for the Mobile Medical Units. Also, many doctors are head to campaigns of children’s vaccination and they participate to programs for drug addicts.

Experts of Mental Health

The experts of mental health participate to the implementation of Programs for mental health and they , also, support activities of other Programs. For this reason, it is very important the contribution of persons specialized in sectors as the social work , the clinical and advisory psychology and the psychiatry.

Administrative employees

Their main duty is the administrative and secretarial support of the Programs in Greece , as the reception of the patients in the policlinics , the record keeping and the provision of information about references of patients or the auxiliary work in the offices. In addition, precious is considered the participation of the volunteers to events of communication , to the organization and support of exhibitions and special kiosks for citizens informing and support of accounts department and human potential.
